Prices for the GT C Coupé start at £130,530, while the GT C Roadster is available from £141,930
It features AMG’s handbuilt 4.0-litre ‘hot V’ V8 petrol engine with an output of 557 hp and maximum torque of 680 Nm
With an output of 557 hp and peak torque of 680 Nm, the AMG GT C is the most powerful Roadster variant and uses some of the technical refinements from the AMG GT R. These include active rear axle steering and an electronically controlled rear axle locking differential
Acceleration from 0-62 mph takes just 3.7 seconds, and the GT C Coupé has a top speed of 197 mph (196 mph for the Roadster)
The AMG GT C is 57 millimetres wider at the rear than the AMG GT and AMG GT S. This creates space for larger wheels and a wider track – ultimately leading to better traction and higher cornering speeds
The GT C range comes standard with 19/20-inch alloy wheels (front/rear); Burmester surround sound; Parktronic with reversing camera; Keyless-Go package; AMG performance steering wheel finished in nappa leather and Dinamica microfibre; and red brake calipers with ‘AMG’ lettering
